I became a Yoga Alliance certified instructor in 2018 through Yoga Roots in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. I have since become certified in teaching prenatal & postpartum yoga with The Amala School of Yoga in Chicago, Illinois, where I lived and taught for four years before returning to the Cleveland area.
As a lifelong dancer, I value the positive impact movement has had on my life. I believe movement lives all around us. The practice of yoga provides a space for our bodies and minds to move together in unison with our breath. If yoga has taught me anything, it is how to breathe through moments of calm and chaos both on and off my mat. For me, yoga is this balance between physical movement and intentional stillness. It makes me feel strong and confident, but also teaches me humility and grace. I look forward to learning more from you and your practice.
“True yoga is not about the shape of your body but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed. Yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been. Yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.”
