Class Descriptions:

PRENATAL

Appropriate for any level of yoga student at any stage of pregnancy. Prenatal yoga classes provide breathing practices for a calmer mind and as preparation for labor, postures to strengthen your hip, back, and leg muscles that aid in pregnancy and childbirth, tools to grow a positive mindset and confidence to trust your intuition, and yoga-based relaxation skills for mindfulness. Each class will include breathing practice, stabilization and strengthening postures, and relaxation. Prenatal yoga is most effective when done frequently! All are welcome.

POSTNATAL

For students who are 6 weeks to however long you feel affected by your pregnancy or birth. Postnatal yoga provides the space and practices to help you relieve stress and calm your mind, techniques to re-discover your core muscles, stretching for your shoulders, neck, wrists, and hands, and postures to help you realign and rebalance the pelvic floor and hips. Reconnect with your body, mind and spirit. All are welcome.

What People Are Saying

“I finished the sessions in a more peaceful state both physically and mentally. My body ached less, I became more flexible, stronger, and I felt confident I was working to help the baby remain in an optimal position for birth. My mind was calmer, I became kinder to family, I felt refreshed and prepared for labor…These lessons were more helpful than the birthing classes I took at the hospital, and by the time my daughter was ready to be born, I was implementing the positions often unconsciously…I highly recommend Sarah as your prenatal yoga instructor. “
